I'm not here to please anyone !!!
As i look again the phrase.. wonder what it exactly means??It gives few hidden & literal meanings
I'm here not to make anyone happy or does it mean "Do not expect much from me as im not going to be on your side"Can we take it as " I only can please myself not others!!" ? or sometimes " Don't expect much from me ..im not going to listen to you"
Whatever the meaning can be.. it all depends the environment or the circle the dialogue is delivered
With friends
I will do what i like .. Don expect me to be on the same wavelength as you
With working colleagues
"It just about work.. nothing personal.. Don't expect me to make you happy as I only can look after myself
With relatives
"Say whatever you want .. im here to live my life not yours"
With own self
I only depend on myself.. No reason for me to make others happy !! This is my life"
With community
" I don't need please the people around me. Don bother much "
No matter what, this can be viewed from positive and negative views.We can be ourselves and YES!!! that is the most important in living the life in this world..Yes we need to be original
not as copy of others. Being original simply means we are strict with our life values as well as our life principals.But that doesn't mean that we can be selfish to the extend we don't respect others as well their feelings.We live in a community where we dependent on each other as humans and the respect is definitely needed. we don't need to please others but we always choose to respect others.Even when we would like to express our stand or opinion,there is always a way of expressing it. Yes we stand firm in our opinion, .. but the way we express our opinion also potray ourselves in many ways
There is nothing wrong to say things out but it is very important to know the circumstances of the expression as well as the consequences of it. Remember " I'm not here to please anyone"
Anyone can say this at any point of time and who knows at point we may be the victim of these words.
